Willa | Seattle newborn photgrapher

July 22nd, 2010

Introducing Willa. Just 5 days old and so sweet! I love it when they are so new and squishy! I think one of the best parts of this job is being able to hold the brand new babies! Here are a few favorites…

a big wish | Seattle child photographer

July 7th, 2010

My kids and I spent the 4th of July with friends near Portland. We took the train there and back, which was a wonderful way to travel. The weather was beautiful and the countryside even more so! Look at the size of that dandelion head!!

The light really cooperated for an evening session in Edmonds Monday night. The rain held off and I had a great time with these lovely young ladies! These are just a few of my favorites! There were so many it was hard to narrow it down!

A friend of mine was nice enough to volunteer her and her grown daughters when I asked for mother/daughter models. They were a lot of fun! Mo, you raised some beautiful daughters!

And while the family was all together we took the opportunity to get some shots of her daughters with their beautiful kids! I loved seeing this family all together, laughing, enjoying each others company…

We finally had a nice day, weatherwise, and so a morning park session with these two sisters was dry thankfully! A little windy and chilly though! This was a very fun session…these two kept me laughing!

Here are a few more of my favorites. I do wish their other sister could have joined us…maybe next time!

Storyboards | Seattle portrait photographer

June 16th, 2010

I get asked about storyboards a lot. What are they? Storyboards are simply putting 2 or more images together that tell a story. these photos of my daughter enjoying the first watermelon of the season when she was two always brings a smile to my face. I can almost feel the sticky juice when I see it.

Here are a few more examples of different storyboards. My most popular storyboards are the 20×10 size. You can easily find frames for these at most frame stores, or even big box stores. These look wonderful on a wall or on an easel on a desk or shelf.

This one has a poem added that really seemed to fit this gir’s spirit!

A boy and his dragon

Storyboards can be vertical too. This one fits a standard 8×10 frame. Aren’t they cute??

Storyboards start at $75. See the website for more pricing.

I just had to add this one from the other day. My favorite image from the session by far. Mom wasn’t planning on being in any photos, but I’m so glad I caught this sweet shot.

Cedella is one. She is such a happy baby! So full of smiles! Until we brought out the cake! Then she was all serious business and focused! :-) She was adorable and so much fun to shoot!
