A few more preschoolers

These kids are just too cute!

And how sweet is this little guy?? I LOVE this photo…clinging to mom’s leg and all. We did coax him out for some solo shots, but this is still my favorite!

These brothers were just adorable together..

This girl was a sweetie…I’m wanting those tights and boots for ME!

There’s more to come, as this is a busy preschool photo time of year!

I got to shoot my first session in my new studio (which is technically not open yet) with Will and his big brother Charlie. These two boys are adorable! I first met Will when he was just about a week old…and look at him now!

I got to try out a fun new backdrop I got too…

Will wasn’t quite sure to think about all of this…

How cute is that red hair??

Thanks for being the first, Brooke! Your boys are wonderful! It’s so fun seeing them grow and change!

I’ve had the pleasure of doing the school photos at Shoreline Cooperative Preschool for a few years now, and it’s one of my favorite jobs. The kids are so cute! Shoreline Co-op and Teacher Patty have a special place in my heart…both of my children went here. Teacher Patty is a wonderful teacher, and the Co-op experience was one I will never forget. I learned so much through the school, the process, the other parents, and, of course, Teacher Patty. I can say without a doubt that I am a better parent because of my experience in Co-op preschool. If you are looking for a preschool, please consider Co-op!

Here are some of this year’s cuties!! Ages 2-5 is so fun! I never know what I am going to get!

And the wonderful Teacher Patty…

If you are interested in Co-op preschool, you can find more information here.
And you can visit the Shoreline Co-op blog or website.

summer evening | Seattle child photographer

These are mine. We spent an evening at the beach the other night, and of course I took my camera along in hopes I might get a few good photos of my own kids. Which is MUCH more difficult than photos of other people’s kids. There was an ice cream bribe involved! In the end I got a few I love!

(could have used a hairbrush!)

I even got one of the two of them together!! I did get one of them smiling, but I like this one better. I may have to get this one BIG…I love this one!

And good thing I caught it because seconds later it turned into this:

and went downhill from there…

A beautiful evening!

This morning park session with 2 boys and their dog was so much fun!
These boys were so sweet and their new dog is clearly thrilled with her new home!

This dog was so well-behaved! She listened, she was awesome with the boys, obeyed commands. And loved to play!

a big wish | Seattle child photographer

My kids and I spent the 4th of July with friends near Portland. We took the train there and back, which was a wonderful way to travel. The weather was beautiful and the countryside even more so! Look at the size of that dandelion head!!

Storyboards | Seattle portrait photographer

I get asked about storyboards a lot. What are they? Storyboards are simply putting 2 or more images together that tell a story. these photos of my daughter enjoying the first watermelon of the season when she was two always brings a smile to my face. I can almost feel the sticky juice when I see it.

Here are a few more examples of different storyboards. My most popular storyboards are the 20×10 size. You can easily find frames for these at most frame stores, or even big box stores. These look wonderful on a wall or on an easel on a desk or shelf.

This one has a poem added that really seemed to fit this gir’s spirit!

A boy and his dragon

Storyboards can be vertical too. This one fits a standard 8×10 frame. Aren’t they cute??

Storyboards start at $75. See the website for more pricing.

Cedella is one. She is such a happy baby! So full of smiles! Until we brought out the cake! Then she was all serious business and focused! :-) She was adorable and so much fun to shoot!
Here are a few of my favorites!

Look at that smile!

Keep an eye on the blog for information about my new “Watch Me Grow” plan for baby’s first year! The cake’s on me!
